Frilford Heath looked fabulous and played wonderfully under a day of sunshine. The triangular match is played between the LSGC, Chartered Accountants and Chartered Surveyors. The Trophy was held by the LSGC at the start of the day. The scoring is so complicated that I will simply say that one Sheridan (me) ended up presenting the Trophy to another Sheridan ( my brother Niall), the Captain of the Chartered Surveyors who were winners by some way. Consolation was gained by LSGC coming in second place. This is the only time in my golfing calendar that I play in a sixsome. Like a foursome but with an extra two players! It was played, by all, at a quite remarkable pace, allowing us a leisurely wonderful lunch, which was washed down with some vino. Recommended.
