This match was a little disappointing. Firstly we lost ( rather too well), and secondly the condition of the course was not great. Most of the courses we have played this year have (of course) been causality to the glorious weather, but unfortunately this normally magnificent course had been treated, heavily sanded and hollow tinning had just occurred. Nevertheless we had a good sociable match and excellent lunch. The Captain got hopelessly lost on the way home by being a slave to his Sat Nav.
