After the recent inclement weather it was a treat to meet for the LSGC’s annual match against the Valuation Office at Hankley Common on a clear warm day.  Some good food, good wine, good company and some mixed golf, with a morning greensomes and an afternoon singles later, we lost 10 points to 5 points.
Matters of note were the help of both Simon Peers and Emma Andersen in stepping in at little notice to fill late cry-offs for which our thanks to them both.
A big thank you also to Andrew Keenan for presenting a trophy to be played for in this match which was presented to the Valuation Office captain on this occasion but next year …
